Valentine’s Banquet
Come take a ride with us down “Memory Lane” at the LBC Valentine’s Banquet. The meal to include soup, salad, entrée and dessert. Come out and support our youth ministry and enjoy a trip down Memory Lane. Sunday, February 12th at 6:30pm. Donations only.
25 Years
On Sunday, January 29, our church will honor Kathy and Bill Sutter for 25 years of faithful service to us. The choir will perform an anthem, “Through Christ” written by Pepper Choplin especially for the Sutters. There will be a covered dish luncheon, also. Please start making your plans to be there that day to show your appreciation for the Sutters.

VALENTINE COOKIES
Please join us for baking VALENTINE COOKIES FOR SHUT-INS AND OTHERS. Sat. Feb 4th at 9AM LBC Fellowship Hall Please bring your ingredients to bake or bring homemade cookies already baked. Also need Folks to help pack boxes and deliver boxes. 30 boxes were delivered last time. DEACONS please call Lana and reserve boxes for your Deacon families you would like to visit. Donations of small Valentine boxes, bags or tins will be appreciated. Deliverers can drop by to pick up boxes between 10:30 and Noon. Lana 893-4928

Dear Church Family,
Thank you for your support, Prayers, calls, cards during my Brother Otis Baker’s illness and recent death. He lost his battle with cancer and went home to be with the Lord. Thanks to each of you and God Bless you.

Operation Inasmuch
Our church has voted to participate in the Statewide ministry emphasis, called Operation Inasmuch, on April 28, 2012. As we have done in the past, we will be involved in several projects reaching out to serve the community. The purpose of this emphasis is to show the Love of Jesus Christ in a tangible way as we get personally involved. The Missions Committee has met and is asking for the input of our church members as you are aware of needs that all of us might not know about. Please look around where you live, work, participate in various activities, and socialize and ask God to show you those people and areas that could use our ministry. Please call Dorothy Barham or the church office when you are aware of any needs. The committee will meet again on February 5, and will begin to put together a list of proposed projects.
